Some sessions just feel extra special – and this was one of them. Maylen is the daughter of a good friend, and getting to capture this chapter of her life was truly such an honor. She had a vision for her senior photos that felt like sunshine: golden hour light, warmth, and glow. And let me tell you – we got it all.
We scheduled her session for what turned out to be the most beautiful evening, drenched in that soft, golden light that only late summer can deliver. Maylen was radiant, the kind of natural beauty that just shines even brighter in that sunset glow. She twirled among the marsh, laughed freely, and let the light wrap around her like a warm hug.
There’s something about senior sessions that always pulls at my heartstrings – maybe it’s the celebration of who they are in this moment, or the anticipation of what’s next. For Maylen, it was all that and more. Her kindness, her joy, and her gentle spirit were so present in every single frame.
